California Rex or Marcel

The California Rex or Marcel was first discovered in California in 1959. It is better known as the Marcel Cat. This cat has the wavy-haired coat of the typical Rex Cat, but with longer fur, giving it the look of ‘marcel-waving’, hence its name.
