Colorpoint British Shorthair

It is a domestic breed, created in Britain in 1980s, in which a typical British Shorthair Cat has been enchanced by the addition of a typical Siamese coat pattern. It should not be confused with the American Colorpoint Shorthair.
The appearance of Coporpoint British Shorthair is the same as for the British Shorthair Cat, except for the coat pattern. The dark extremities – the Siamese points – may be present in any of the usual colors. The short body has stocky, cobby shape, with strong, thick legs, rounded head, large feet and heavy tail.
This cat remains essentially a typical British Shorthair, with a personality to match. It has acquired only the Siamese coloring, but not its character.
