A new American breed, the recently developed (1990s) long-haired version of the Russian Blue.
     It is similar in all respects to the Russian Blue, except for the coat length which is long and soft to the touch. The blue-gray double coat has guard hairs that are silver-tipped, giving the cat a lustrous look.         
     It is said to be calm, reserved, gentle, quiet, timid, affectionate, loving, adaptable and intelligent.            
     Color forms: Only two are recognized so far: Blue and White.
