Russian Cat at Lunch

'A Merchant's Wife Having Tea' is the title of this scene. Please notice the cat telling its human companion that incidentally she (the cat that is) would like a few tidbits too, if you would be so kind. A very polite cat, you can tell it from the first glance. Painted in 1918 by the Russian painter Boris Kustodiev (1878-1927), it is kept in the Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow (Russia).
